geopoliticus child watching the birth of the new man
by salvador dali (1943)

Dada art was an art style that was creeated between world war 1 and world war 2. The art work sen above is called "Geopolitics child watching birth of new man" which was created by salvador dali in 1943. This painting is considered dad because it shows a deformed earth giving birth to man. We see a human like figure coming out of the earth which can symbolize the birth of man. We also see what looks like blood coming out at the bottom of the earth on a white blanket, this could symbolize how man is damaging earth.  the human outside of the earth can symbloize ho some human stand by has they see others damage earth. As you can see this is why this is called Dada art.

"Going Home" by Jacob Lawrence

Jacob Lawrence was an African American artist who is known to use the art style of Dada to portray the average African American life. Jacob was influence by the oppression colored people was feeling at the time, that is why he mostly painted African america in his art. The art work above shows one of Jacob Lawrence work called "Going Home". He used dark colors to pray what looks like African Americans on a bus or tray heading somewhere. We can also see what looks like luggage being stored on top. He uses triangular shapes to proytray the people and blue squares to show the windows. Jacob Lawrence was an  proud African american who did not shy away with using colored people in his artworks.
